Throughout the year, I try to make many changes to my lifestyle that take me away from my usual routine. I have had a few of these for the past few years; for example, I started a fitness routine by doing yoga every day. I also switched up my diet to include fruit, whole grains, and vegetables.
I try to always keep myself in a positive headspace, and I think that has a lot to do with it. Being positive helps me not to feel anxious when things aren’t going well. But when I’m feeling anxious I just have to remind myself that I need that positive mood and I need to make small changes to my lifestyle to keep my head happy.
I know what youre saying, but I also think it has to do with our brains. If I feel like theres going to be an accident, I dont necessarily need to think about it every second. I know that sounds weird, but it seems like the more you think about something, the more likely you are to get it. The problem is that our brains create patterns, and habits, so that when things dont go well, we dont get as good of a result.
The problem is that the brain can only keep up with so many things at once, and we tend to get so caught up in our own thoughts that we forget to take care of small things. I think it is because of something called “decay.” This is when our thoughts start to change from being positive, focused on enjoying ourselves, to negative, thinking about things that are no longer enjoyable.
Decay is a very real process. I’ve learned that the more I am aware of decay, the less I worry about it and the more I enjoy life.
